News about Afasa Africa

News from AFASA -- Togo, Africa

The AFASA women are grateful for new literacy classes. Both men and women who have learned to read in Kabiye now want to learn to read in French. There are simply more job opportunities for people who are able to read and write in French.

There are several small projects in need of financial support (see projects under the menu bar). If you would like to sponsor a project in some way, rather personally or with some group , click here to learn more.

There are two new cloth products at the on-line store. You’ll see pretty colors for this year!

Thanks for encouraging these women of West Africa!

Enjoy your summer,
Esther, (Co-founder and USA representative for AFASA)
